Laura Montgomery


Laura Montgomery is a Registered Social Worker RSW (#09396). She obtained her Masters of Social Work from the University of British Columbia and is a member in good standing with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW) and the British Columbia Association of Social Workers (BCASW). Laura is passionate about helping individuals, parents and adolescents move through challenge and emerge with greater connection to others and their own inner truth. Laura’s post-graduate training includes AEDP, Sensorimotor Therapy and Parenting Support with the Neufeld Institute. She has also trained in play therapy and sandtray therapy. Laura has experience supporting individuals and families navigate through life transitions through her work in a variety of healthcare settings. Additionally, Laura has a longstanding commitment to meditation and spiritual practice.

As a Therapist, Laura creates a space of connection, safety, and warmth. Laura believes the innate drive toward healing and growth is always present within each of us and counselling helps this innate drive to emerge allowing for change to happen in our lives. Laura is honoured to work collaboratively with her clients and witness their ability to navigate life’s ups and downs, create deep connection and shine in their own unique way.

Laura welcomes people who are LGBTQ/2S and deeply value the diversity of human experience and expression. Laura is also a registered clinician with CVAP (Crime Victim Assistant Program).
